Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello fellow feasters!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I just wanted to take a moment to bless all of you and tell you how thankful we are for each and every one of you! We are so grateful to be connected to so many beautiful and wonderful children of God. Take some time and tell God what you are thankful for, today, tomorrow, and every other day of the year! The scriptures I want to leave you with today are-

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song. For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. – Psalms 95:2-3

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. – 1 Timothy 4:4-5

I wish you all a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

The grass withers and the flowers fall…

Pam walked with me through the garden today pointing out the things I miss when I’m always looking for color. This spoke a bit of revelation to me, in that we are always looking for the “shiny” things in our daily walk with God, which can cause us to miss the beauty in the subtle gifts from God that come when we aren’t paying attention. So declare that you will not overlook the small things that God is doing in your life because you are searching for the big things!

Blessings,

Tracey

His Word endures forever…

Happy Autumn, all!

I took some photos in the garden this morning and was inspired to write a little poem.

As the breath of God restores and revives,

creation sighs and reaches up.

The flowers bloom and the waters rise,

singing the praises of His love.

As the season turns and the light fades,

creation rests for the night.

The leaves fall and the waters calm,

waiting patiently for new life.

But as the rainbow comes after the storm,

so His glory will always remain.

His eternal Word inhabits the earth,

and never fades away.

Please enjoy the pictures, and declare Isaiah 40:8!

Blessings,

Tracey

And it was so…

Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.

– Genesis 1:29-30

Daniel Arenas, Dylan Comeau and Ethan Pierce took a trip to Sand Creek Farm in Cameron, TX this past weekend to take a course in Aquaponics. We are always looking for new ways to provide food for ourselves and our community. The guys came back very excited about the prospects for gardening with Aquaponics on the new land. We’ll keep you posted on future developments and look forward to serving you a fresh salad when you come to visit!
