I wanted to share some more photos with you of the few things in bloom in the garden. Just remember that even when everything seems dead and barren, God is doing great works beneath the surface! Hello all!

I wanted to update y’all on what’s been going on in the garden. Here are several photos of some things that are blooming, as well as some of the stone edging the crew has been adding to several of the features, including the winepress, community garden, and water features in Manasseh. Work is also continuing on the new Pavilion, so be watching for the development on that new and exciting feature. Abundant blessings to all of you!

Hello all!

I just wanted to give you a little update on one of the big projects in the garden happening right now. You probably remember seeing the water tower being torn down several months ago – well now Jesus and the crew are working diligently to fulfill the vision God has given for what to do with it. They are turning it into an amphitheater that will overlook the garden! This past week they laid down concrete to level out the foundation. I’ve posted a little video for you to see all of their hard work, and rejoice in God’s vision being made manifest!

Hello all!

Here are some new photos of the garden, including some of the rain we had last week and the abundance of bees and butterflies that have made the garden their home. We had over 7 1/2 inches of rain over the weekend – what an incredible illustration of the month of the flood! Manasseh is the tribe for this month, and it flooded most of all. I love how God gives us tangible, vivid pictures of His Word. Please enjoy the photos!

I know I’ve used this song (Beauty for Ashes) before for a garden video, but I just couldn’t help but use it again, because it is always relevant to what’s happening in the kingdom! God is always bringing us through seasons of deliverance and redemption and restoration, and we can always hope in the beauty that follows the storm. Hello all!

I hope you all are enjoying this time of tabernacling with God! I wanted to update you all and let you know that we are still working hard to integrate the garden into the main website. Once the integration is complete, we will give you all of the details on where to go and where new updates will be posted, so that you can continue following what we are doing. I’m so excited for the transition and for the things we will have available for y’all! WordPress is being a little evasive with uploading new media as of late, but I finally found a workaround to get some new pictures up. All the more reason to work hard on the new integration! Thank you all for your patience and we love all of you dearly and pray for abundant blessings in your lives!

Shabbat Shalom All!

I hope all of you are blessed and doing well! I apologize for my absence – I’ve started the Fall semester and we are in the process of integrating the Garden blog in to the website in a whole new way, so things have been pretty busy! I wanted to share the latest lyric video with you all though, and encourage you to enter in and rest this Shabbat. We all lead pretty busy lives but we must always remember to take our rest in Him, no matter how demanding our schedules may be. Shabbat Shalom All!

Last Sunday the worship and prophecy that came out was so incredible, and if you were unable to join us I encourage you to go back and watch the replay. As you might know, the Perseid Meteor shower took place this week, and I spent several hours out in the garden Wednesday night trying to capture some of it on film. Unfortunately we aren’t in a prime location for seeing them, due to light pollution, but I did manage to get one of them on film which I included in the video.

One of the main prophetic words Sunday that came forth in prophecy and in worship was “Change your perception.” God has been talking to me a lot about this lately, and I have really meditated on it in the context of what I do with the camera, and then relating it back to my spiritual walk. I actually had my final art project this week, which was a collage of narrative panels, and I had struggled and strived over it for hours on the final day. When I felt I’d finished, I wasn’t quite connecting with the piece, but I was exhausted and out of time so I said “this will have to do.” I then walked around to the other side of the table to fix something at the top of the piece, and I saw it upside down and was floored! It spoke volumes to me and took on significant spiritual meaning when I looked at it from this perspective. So, when I presented the piece, I hung it in the way that God had shown me.

All of this to say that your perceptions and perspectives are so important! If your camera angle is upside down, or too narrowly framed, you will miss what God is speaking to you. So thank God that He is changing your frame of reference and perspective in order to see and hear Him more clearly!
