Spring is Here!

Hello All!

I spent a glorious week in Colorado for my spring break last week, and I’m back to work today. Colorado was absolutely gorgeous, and I will be sharing some photos here on the blog when I get through sorting them.

I walked through the garden this morning and spring is definitely here! Beautiful colors are starting to emerge, and I am so excited for the new season. Here are some photos for you to enjoy, and be watching for more as we move into the new season and the garden begins to explode with new life!

Blessings,

Tracey

A closer look…

Hey all,

These are just some extreme close up photos of the same flowers I took pictures of yesterday. I was out playing with my macro lens again and just wanted to share!

Spring blossoms!

Hello all!

The garden is really beginning to  bloom now that the cold weather has passed, and as the temperature goes up and stays up, we’ll see more and more color popping up all over the garden. I walked through today and took photos of everything that has begun to bloom, and was so excited to see the life and colors! Just as God sent the rainbow after the flood, we always know that the abundant life of the spring season will always follow the desolation of the winter. Thank God for His everlasting promises!

Blessings,

Tracey

Last snow in the garden…

Happy Monday All!

I am going to go ahead and say that last week was the last snow in the garden, in hopes that it’s the prophetic truth. Here is a video of the snow from Thursday, as well as some beautiful shots of the birds and squirrels enjoying the sunny weather on Friday! It’s certainly true what they say about March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb. All those snow days the last few weeks, and it’s been raining for two days now. I can’t wait for Spring!

Blessings,

Tracey

Even more snow…

Hello All,

Well. I was under the impression the temps would be up in the mid 60’s at least on Tuesday, but sadly, I was mistaken. It was rainy and still cold. And then we had more ice and snow last night, making roads a challenge once again, for us southerners. However, there has been GLORIOUS sunshine today, which has melted a lot of the snow and ice, and allowed me to drive up to the garden and get some pictures of the finally sunny weather. I also took some video which I will post tomorrow, with lots of birds singing, almost as if (I’d like to think) they are saying that the cold weather has passed and Spring will be here soon. Please enjoy the photos, and look for the video to be posted tomorrow! Bless you all, and stay safe and warm!

Snow video..

Happy Monday all,

Here is the promised video of the snow from last Friday. The temperature is supposed to be up in the low 70’s tomorrow, and then potential snow again at the end of the week! Texas weather certainly keeps it interesting. Please enjoy the video, and be on the lookout for some warm weather pictures tomorrow or Wednesday, as I’ll be out in the sunshine while it lasts!

Blessings,

Tracey

More Snow!

Shabbat Shalom, All!

It’s pretty nippy here right now, and I managed to get quite a few photos of the snow in the garden before I was too frozen to press the shutter button anymore. I also took some video which will most likely go up on the blog on Monday, so stay tuned! Please enjoy the photos of the beautiful white garden, and enter in to His shabbat rest this evening!

Blessings,

Snow in the Garden!

Hello all!

If you’re reading the emailers from Chuck then you know we’ve had an icy few days here in North Texas. I walked through the garden as soon as I arrived this morning, and captured some great photos and video of the beautiful “snow” and ice. (I put snow in quotations because it was mostly just ice disguised as snow, ha!) Please enjoy, and thank God for the beauty in EVERY season, no matter how cold or dreary it may seem! And for those of you in much colder climates than ours, please stay safe and warm!

Blessings,

Tracey

First signs of spring!

Hello all!

The first almond tree blossom has appeared in the garden, and there are new blossoms sprouting up everywhere! I am so excited for the coming spring, and wanted to share this video and pictures with you. The verse I found for today is from Jeremiah 1:11-12 (NIV) –

11The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?”

“I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.

12The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watchingb to see that my word is fulfilled.”

Rejoice in the hope and promise that spring brings! Just as the almond tree brings the first promises of spring, you can have faith that His word will bring forth everything He has promised you!

Blessings!

Into the New!

Hello all!

The forsythia has started to bloom, and we also got two new female ducks to add to our little army of quackers. Here is a collection of photos of those things as well as a few other random photos I’ve taken this week. Thank God for the new things of the new season!

Blessings,

Tracey
