As I mentioned in my last post, we have been working on the landscape irrigation system this week. In spite of several years of neglect, the system was in surprisingly good shape. When I arrived on the property in Corinth this afternoon, the crew was just about ready to run their first test. Take a look at what happened:
We have water!

Pam, this reminds me of Deuteronomy “when the LORD your God brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers…to give you great and splendid cities which you did not build…hewn cisterns which you did not dig…For the LORD is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing forth in valleys and hills..” (Deut 6:10-11;Deut 8:7) Thank You, LORD, for blessing us with Your blessing!!!

Rejoice with Jerusalem , and be glad for her, all you who love her rejoice for joy for her; all you who mourn for her , that you may feed and be satisfied with the consolation of her bosom, that you may drink deeply and be delighted with the abundance of her glory, for thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will extend peace to her Like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream. then you shall feed , Is 66:10-12, with joy you shall draw water from the wells of salvation!

What a miracle that the landscape irrigation system is still working! I used to design automatic irrigation systems in southern California and really appreciate what you’re doing!
Yay, God! He is so faithful!

In the middle picture in the second row I see what looks like “Chadon beni” or “shado beni” or “bhandhania”. This is a herb that is commonly used in East Indian Cuisine, in the Caribbean and here in Trinidad and Tobago. The leaves are also rich in iron, carotene, riboflavin, and calcium, and are an excellent source of vitamin A, B and C. This herb also has medicinal properties. They grow well in troughs.Gen 1:29 Then God said, “I’ve given you every sort of seed-bearing plant on Earth And every kind of fruit-bearing tree, given them to you for food.” Beulah Acres is indeed a place of healing and spiritual refreshing.

Pam: When I read your recent post about the irrigation system still working after all of these years, I was touched! God reminded me that what He has planted inside of us, although dormant for long stretches of time, is still there and able to produce the water of life when He is ready to release it or when the conditions are right. It just takes some tender, loving care! And, it brings life to everything around it! Praise Him! He is wonderful! Thanks for all you do!

Pam, When I reread your post this morning about the irrigation system springing to life after so many years, couldn’t help but see the Lord’s new infilling for His beloved land there and the new infilling of His Living Water that Chuck spoke of our needing for the move to the property in Corinth. Hallelujah that it’s raining in Israel as well!! Thanks for the pictures, too!
