Signs of Spring

How lovely is Your tabernacle,
O LORD of hosts!
My soul longs, yes, even faints
For the courts of the LORD;
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Even the sparrow has found a home,
And the swallow a nest for herself,
Where she may lay her young—
Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts,
My King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in Your house;
They will still be praising You.

Psalm 84:1-4

I took a moment this evening to wander through my own back yard and enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of spring.  I was tempted to work, because I have neglected my own yard and gardens while overseeing the Twelve Tribes Garden in Corinth.  When I chose to lean the rake back against the wall and enter Shabbat with thanksgiving, I was greeted with the nest you see here.  In the climbing rose bush next to my garden gate, a pair of mockingbirds have constructed their nest.  Now I know who has been singing so exuberantly outside my window every morning for the past week!  Praise breaks forth from creation, and we are privileged to join in the song!

Shabbat shalom, y’all!

    Thanks for the breath of fresh spring air from Texas. In a world desperate for answers, I feel Spring is especially needed this year. Thanks for the “boost up” on focusing on Life.
    Love the encouragement your updates bring as you “Run With The Vision”. I also loved your greeting, “Shabbat shalom, y’all”. As a transplanted Okie in New Mexico, I can appreciate “y’all”, and added to the Hebrew, it was delightful.
    Right back atcha. Carol Allison

  7. I read your blog before I prayed this morning and then as I prayed through the Psalms, Psalms 84 was one of my scheduled passages to pray through. My spirit leaped with anticipation as I recognized the Holy Spirit was establishing this Psalm in my life. I give God praise for the new season that I am in and He used your blog to further confirm this new season. God is awesome! Thank you for being a confirming vessel to me this morning.

    Miss Pam:

    A beautiful Joy of life shines through your blog in contrast to the plans of the evil one to undermine you through attacks of depression.

    Your life demonstrates how GOD turns to good attempts of the evil one to undermine the bride.

    I look at the gardens and read what the Lord is speaking to me at present: 1st Judah goes 1st,
    the rose garden, and how I never liked the restaurant name “olive garden”! Then God said, “It’s not you, it’s the iniquity in you that doesn’t want to be pressed. Allow it, and it will go better for you.” lol
    Also, 2nd I inherited an old Nissan from my mom and the Holy Spirit said to find out what this word means. I studied some, but by staying in contact with Chuck Pierce, who ministers about the times and seasons,
    I learned that in the Hewbrew, Nissan means emblem and banner. I thought, “Well, Lord, you are my standard for everything!” I had laid down making or studying the about the banner, but I am returning to my first assignment given 18 years ago. The garden is beautiful!

  13. I made a comment a few minutes ago about the picture above in the blog of the purple flowers and I want to comment on this picture also. This picture is to be included in the “collection” of garden “prints”. I have a seer’s annointing and all I can tell you is that this picture is one of the “chosen one’s”. It too will, with the annointing on it, bring people to the Lord as it “DRAWS” people right into Jesus. Oh yes, my my. All the flower pictures were beatiful but these two were hand picked to be different. I can see it all over the picture. Take more individual pictures, ask God for that special annointing on the pictures and see what comes up. Super nature flowers, thats what. haha this will be something!!!!! Blessings, Alice Morgan
