Morning in the Garden

Come, and let us return to the LORD;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Hosea 6:1-3

When my children were small and came to me with a boo-boo, all they usually needed was a kiss and a band-aid.  As they grew older and bolder, the kiss and band-aid often turned into a trip to the emergency room for stitches, bone setting, and burn treatments.  In the same way, there are times in our lives when the injuries we receive from the world can be fixed with a kiss and a band-aid.  A quick word of encouragement and a promise from the Word will take care of so many problems!  But every once in awhile, we need a trip to the emergency room.  Some wounds require special attention, and God is present and available to His children to bind us up, revive us, and raise us up to live in His sight.

Whatever you are experiencing today, don’t neglect to pursue the knowledge of the Lord whose going forth is established as the morning.  Seek His face today and receive the joy and refreshing that He longs to share with His children.

Shabbat Shalom,

Pam

    My Sister-
    Do you remember the Worship song that went?:

    “This is the day of the Latter Rain of Promise…
    Promise to bless all the people of the Lord…
    Ask for this rain in the day of Latter Rain-
    So that we can be more like HIM;

    Soften our hearts, fill us with Love, let the air we breathe- make us more like Thee…
    Ask for this rain in the day of Latter Rain-
    So that we can be more like HIM.”

    “In the third day He will raise us up!” I’ve posted on my Weblog “The Day of Christ… and the Day of the Lord”. You may find it edifying: ‘http://zionsgate.wordpress.com’

    Pam, you just HAVE to write another book! A devotional book would be a great idea. You have the gift of writing and so many experiences to share from the right spiritual perspective. The photos would be a great bonus in the book as well! Make this your next prayer project!!! Many more people need what you have to share!

  10. The picture is highly annointed and has the spirit of the Lord upon it, no doubt about it. This should be framed, with the scripture below it and start a galary of pictures to sell to raise money for ____________ (whatever). The large dark hole in the middle, and the “misty light” shining in the upper left CLEARLY shows the spirit of the Lord there. Many people will be drawn to the Lord, many will be healed as they look upon this picture it will be like they are looking upon the Lord himself. Without the spirit resting upon this picture, it would be just another picture of flowers, but with the signature of God himself on it, my my. And if we did a study of the type of flower in the picture, (is that lavender?) we’d discover lots of things about the Lord and the nature of the flower to connect with the lord (I am a researcher). I know as I scroll down thru this blog, there is another picture that has the same annointing on it. I will make a comment about that picture also. Blessings, Alice Morgan
