Since before Passover, the garden crew has worked hard preparing to present the Israel Prayer Garden to a whole new group of visitors: the people of Denton County, Texas. Last Saturday, new visitors arrived in a steady stream from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Many people who live within a few miles of the garden said, “We didn’t even know this was here!” Those of us who are privileged to work in the garden every day felt like proud parents introducing their child to the world. What a wonderful opportunity it was to share our vision and enthusiasm with the community!
For those of you who are unable to visit the garden in person, I walked through the garden on Thursday morning taking pictures. Here, then, is what over 300 visitors enjoyed on Saturday during the annual Denton County Master Gardener Tour.

Pam and team, I was there at Head of the Year and it was beautiful then. This is absolutely splendid. There has been so much added and all done with wonderful taste. I am sure the Lord is pleased with all your efforts and hard work and so are we. This is breath taking! Sherry

Lovely! I’m coming out to the Dallas (from Virginia) to visit my friend and the one thing I just have to do is drive up and see the GSC, and especially walk through the prayer garden. I feel my spirit leap within me whenever it comes to mind. I’m so excited about what God is doing in Texas!
