Anticipating the rain!

Shabbat Shalom!

This week we enjoyed some much needed rain (we are praying for more!) and cooler weather. In the hours before the first rainfall I walked through the Garden with my camera; it was much quieter and more still than usual — almost as if the Garden was holding its breath in eager anticipation, just as we were.

This little video includes footage of before, during and after the rain. It occurred to me when I was editing it that while you regularly get to experience the Garden with us through video, you rarely get to experience it through sound. With that in mind, I did not include music with this particular video and instead left the audio that I captured, in hopes that you would enjoy the snippets of sounds of the Garden.

Enjoy and be blessed!

I always enjoy the garden photos and videos! I appreciate the fact that GOZ makes us webcasters feel so much a part of being there. Through the years I’ve gotten to know the people of the congregation…even by name…just by participating in every service, prayer meeting, and conference. Thank you for your diligent attention to the Garden.

The butterflies are beautiful. Thank for including the natural sounds, the clouds, the thunder, the wind, the chimes, the ducks. You allowed us to walk with you and hear the sounds released. You draw us in with these beautiful videos. Thank you.

    Hi Pam,
No no music but we heard the buzz of clippers and the ducks. So peaceful. Noted the blue on the King is in. What nice piece of nature. Thank you.

  8. Pam, Thank you so much for letting us hear the sounds of the garden! I am constantly amazed at the miracle it is! I had to laugh at the sound of a weedwhacker or something in the background when the butterfly was dancing on the flowers. It made it look like the butterfly was buzzing – lol!! Thank you again!

Saw the beauty of the rain and sended the “ahh…” of the garden as the Lord gave the needed water to live. Loved how the after-rain joy and praise came forth. Awesome!

This was priceless — “One is nearer God’s heart in a garden than any place else on earth”– I believe it. Thank you — wonderfully divine!!!!

What a lovely, healthy garden. I enjoy the sound of rain and the wind chimes and ducks. I hope to see it and experience it all one day soon. It made me think of what walking in the cool of the day with our Lord might have been like. So comforting, peaceful and secure. I could sense the Presence of the Lord there. Thank you for partnering with the Lord to create the garden and for letting us share it with you.

This was wonderful — thankyou to the videographer for her art, and the Lord who provided the rain! I love the sounds – thankyou for including them! This was such a special way for a Canadian GOZ chick to walk thru the garden!
