The promise of spring…

Happy Monday all!

Wonderful news for all – the almond tree is blooming!

From Pam –

The almond blossom is the first sign of spring in Israel. Here in our garden, the almond is the first of the fruit and nut bearing trees to bloom in the late winter – a promise of spring.

And from yesterday’s service when Pam shared on the almond tree –

“God is saying, ‘I’m giving you another spring.  It’s another chance. Take it, don’t waste it!'”

The verse I want to share with you is from Song of Solomon, and is a beautiful encouraging word for all of us as we have been enduring the winter season and time of deliverance and pruning.

My beloved speaks and says to me:
“Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away,
11 for behold, the winter is past;
the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens its figs,
and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away.

– Song of Solomon 2:10-13

Be blessed and take heart in the spring that is just around the bend!

      Yes let His breath be upon us and gently wash over us as He prepares us for the next season. Yes Lord we will respond to your Love and your breath…
