New life!

Hello All!

Many of you have seen pictures/video of our resident ducks. The female lays eggs, but unfortunately this particular breed is not known for being good about sitting on them, so we have had many eggs but no babies. So, Sue took some of them home and put them in an incubator to see if they would hatch, and voila! Here they are!! As Pam always says – life will find a way!

Blessings,

Tracey

  2. Makes me think of “Make Way for Ducklings”, a great old children’s book about marriage, family, kind local police, the strengthening of country and community through immigrants, … and all set in Boston (such a significant city of America’s beginnings). Our boys love when the ducks are out in the garden at Global Spheres Center!

    • “Make Way for Ducklings” is one of many family favorites at the Pierce household. I read it to all my children, and now I’m reading it to the grand children! And now we are making way for ducklings in the Israel Prayer Garden!

Oh wow, and right for mother;s day. Sue you are the best. When mama duck refuses to sit on the eggs, God has another way. Thank you Sue. I love you. How I would love to hold one of those precious duckies. They will be grown by Pentecost. But how they will love the lake. Maria

A wonderful THANK YOU to the garden team. We were able to enjoy the garden on our visit this last weekend. How wonderfully refreshing it was to be there and see the beautiful life coming forth from the ground, especially as we are still several weeks away from that here in Duluth, MN. I especially loved the roses and iris’. Blessings & love to you all!
