Visiting Chayil the Camel at Home..

Hello all!

Last week we went to visit Chayil the camel and a new baby goat at the Davidson’s property in Sanger, TX. Pam had been asked a few times where Chayil was staying, so we decided to show you! Here’s a video and some photos of Chayil, Jack (the donkey) and all their goat friends (including the precious new addition, Gracie). Enjoy, and thank God for ALL of His wonderful creatures of the earth!

Blessings,

Tracey

  5. Notice how the donkey was not about to be upstaged by the camel? Very funny!
So Pam, am I trippin’ or did we used to have some llama’s at one time? The only reason I ask is b/c my garden group here in Garland brought me up to speed on Llama pellets (and rabbit pellets) as “cold compost” for amending the winter beds in preparation for spring planting! Something I could have gone my whole entire life and never known about. Anyway, we have a llama farm hook up & they’ve been going out & shoveling bags of llama pellets (adds really good nitrogen to the soil) and we added about 20 bags, so far, to our community garden here, and now they’re taking orders for our personal gardens. I have an extra bag if you would care for one for your GOZ or personal garden!
Never, ever thought I’ld be distributing Llama pellets. Wow, this Jubilee Year is already getting fertile! Another note of interest (perhaps); Did you know that llamas, unlike cows or horses, all poop in the same pile! Really smart, clean animals! Not the kind of stuff I ever thought I’ld be getting educated on…my bet is you’re already in the know!
    Happy Composting!
