Painting with light

Hello all!

Yesterday I went out early in the garden to take photos, and looking back at them the Lord began speaking to me about light. As a photographer, I work in many different lighting situations, and I can 100% say that natural lighting is the best lighting. When you try to light a scene with artificial light, you end up with a flat picture with no dimension, or a picture with extremely harsh, unnatural and ugly shadows. The same can be said in our lives; if we try to paint our own picture, or let the devil cast artificial light on us instead of letting God reveal who we are by His Word and light and glory, we end up with either a two-dimensional understanding of ourselves, or walking with an inaccurate and often critical and harsh picture of who we are. When we let God paint our picture with His perfect glory and light, we walk in our truest, most authentic and beautiful selves, as He created us to be. Don’t let your flesh or the devil tell you who you are, let God reveal it to you! Read and hear His word and let His truth shine on and through you. The Word says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, woven together in the womb by God Himself, and God makes no mistakes. Believe what He says, and you will always find peace with your identity!

Please enjoy these photos and have a blessed and wonderful Shabbat!

    Pam,
Thank you so much for this labor of love. I am enjoying viewing the photos on Mother’s Day, a wonderful gift to all of us on this day when mothers are honored.
