I awoke this morning to an unfamiliar, but welcome, sound: thunder followed by rain! I’m not sure how long the rain lasted, but by the time I reached the garden in Corinth, water stood in lovely puddles all over the parched ground. And even though the thermometer once again soared into the triple digits by afternoon, the promise of cooler temperatures hung like perfume in the atmosphere. In fact, the weather man assured me this evening that we would be enjoying temperatures in the nineties by the weekend. That may not sound refreshing to many of you, but for us, it’s a cold front!
While waiting for cooler temperatures, the garden continues to grow and transform. Little by little, each portion is prepared. The latest addition is a boat for the Tribe of Zebulun. The sixth son of Jacob and Leah, Zebulun means “glorious dwelling place.” When Jacob blessed this son, he said that “Zebulun will live by the sea shore and become a haven for ships.” Known for his undivided heart, Zebulun worshiped God wholeheartedly and fulfilled the blessing of Jacob. This tribe is connected to trade, commerce, and prosperity, which enabled Zebulun to support the tribe of Issachar in their study of Torah. Next week, a special gate will be installed at the entrance to Zebulun’s portion of the garden. I look forward to sharing that experience with you.
In the meantime, please enjoy the latest pictures from the garden. I continue to be amazed at how the plants prosper in the midst of the heat and drought. God is good.
Blessings.

Garden is just beautiful. Sense the presence of the Lord even from computer. Q. Are you using drip irrigation like Israel does? Pretty amazing how prayer and favor are causing this ‘desert’ to bloom. I think, personally, the earth is responding to your praises.
Blessings,
Susan

Right now we are using the irrigation system that was in place when we first acquired the garden. We would like to overhaul the system and convert the bedding areas to drip irrigation as the Lord provides!

Pam, you have SUCH a way with words! Your writing is as rich as the garden!
Seeing the new blooms blesses me, even the reflection in the puddles. It’s a beautiful purging of the mind for any stale thoughts from the day. I think a calendar of some sort would be a great project to preserve these images or, better yet, a coffee table book with many of these images and their names and meanings. They’re just too beautiful and the Israel Prayer Garden has so much meaning that should be shared beyond the GOZ/GSC “circle”. Do pray about it!

Thank you Sister Pam for your awesome photos, and your depth of spiritual understanding that you share with us. Both you and Pastor consistently give your flock (near and far) the ‘remez’ and ‘sod’ of our Holy Eternal Covenant Book- graciously anointed by the Holy Spirit.
In fasting and prayer at the beginning of this month (leading up to theResponse), I sensed that breakthrough and release is on the horizon. You will hear an abundance of rain… but thankfully not all at once! A season of life-releasing rain is coming to the lower half of our nation in preparation for a harvest in the natural, and then in the spiritual that will bring joy unspeakable and full of glory! Yes, Isaiah 60:1-5 is ours to own! “Line upon line… precept upon precept… here a little- there a little…”
Praise His Holy Name…

Dearest Pam!
You have no idea what an oasis this garden has been to us, across the seas to an island in the Med – Cyprus!
It has been an oasis because it has watered, and brought such delight to our spirits and has lead to incredible hope and clarity! God speaks so clearly when we are prepared to look at His creation and see HIS GLORY SHINE FORTH!
Thank you for your faithfulness and courage to follow HIS LEADING!!
Much love
Gaenor

Yes indeed God is Good. And what lovely flowers, even though they went through the drought.
I look forward to seeing the garden when I come for Head of the year.
