It’s official: the calendar says March 19. Today is the last day of winter, so tomorrow is the first day of spring. Officially.
Here in the Israel Prayer Garden, spring arrived after the last cold snap in early March. We are enjoying the early signs of spring as we pull weeds, prune, transplant, and spread fresh layers of mulch. The almond blossoms have passed, leaving in their wake the early-blooming perennials, irises, and wildflowers.
Yesterday, the garden was alive with human visitors. Because the Tabernacle and Arbor are receiving new ceiling insulation, the local body met outdoors for a time of food and fellowship. John Dickson, that banjo-playing worship leader, assembled a group of musicians on Ephraim’s threshing floor. What a soundtrack that was! On Solomon’s Porch, Kim Comeau and her faithful group of hostesses served desserts and beverages. Out in the Gentile Field, friends and families gathered around the fire pits to share freshly-prepared meats, potato salads, guacamole, and lots of other delicious goodies.
As I walked through the gardens munching on a tasty fajita (courtesy of our own Jesus de la Cruz), I was overwhelmed with joy to see this place alive with joy and communion. It was truly a foretaste of glory. I know our Father was pleased.
Wherever you are, get ready for spring, and thank the Creator of every good and perfect gift for a new season.
Shalom

Sunday was such a glorious day at Beulah Acres. It was so much fun seeing everyone, visiting, eating, kite flying, listening to music, etc.. I believe our FATHER was smiling down and saying, “now that is what I like to see!” Thank everyone for all you do @;~}

What beautiful images of true Koinonia there in the Israel Prayer Garden! You are all truly blessed. My wife Robyn and I spent a quiet weekend here in Beaumont, CA. A strong late-winter storm covered our region and the mountains surrounding us with a beautiful thick blanket of snow; the third time this past season!
Our hearts are with you as you celebrate all that the LORD is doing through Glory of Zion Int’l and the Global Spheres Center. Kingdom Blessings, in HIM… ~Santos
